Pickled Okra

young tender okra
2 pods hot pepper
2 cloves garlic
2 c. white vinegar
1/4 c. water
2 Tbsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. celery seed or mustard seed

Pack raw okra in hot jars with one pepper and one garlic in each jar. Bring other ingredients to a boil. Pour over okra in jars and seal. Set in water bath for 15 to 20 minutes with heat on to complete seal. ready to use in four weeks. This amount of brine is for two pints. Can be enlarged.
